Duty Manager – Rita's, Mount Maunganui

We’re on the hunt for a full-time Duty Manager to help lead the crew at Rita's, one of the Mount’s favourite go-to spots for pizza, locally brewed beers and drinks until late.

Who we are
Rita's is all about good humans, great pizza and even better nights. We’re open from midday right through to late, serving up edge-to-edge Detroit-style pizza, refreshing cocktails and locally brewed beers while keeping the atmosphere buzzing every day of the week.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the floor during busy lunch, dinner and late shifts

• Supporting the team to deliver outstanding service with personality

• Managing shift logistics, staff and customer flow with confidence

• Helping maintain standards for food, drinks and guest experiences

• Pitching in where needed, from bar service to guest interaction

Who we’re looking for

• Current Duty Manager certificate required

• Strong bar experience is a plus

• Comfortable running a busy floor and bar

• Organised, people-focused and calm under pressure

• Thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments
