About the role:
Centrally located in the heart of Christchurch Central, Mövenpick Hotel Christchurch is looking for a passionate Housekeeping Attendant to join our hardworking Housekeeping team in delivering 5-star quality service to our guests.
Key duties include:
Carry out assigned cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout guest rooms and public areas
Clean and service allocated guest rooms and public spaces in line with hotel brand standards
Maintain exceptional attention to detail, ensuring guests arrive to a spotless and welcoming environment
Replenish guest amenities, supplies, and promotional materials in rooms and bathrooms according to room type standards
Deliver efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests while responding promptly to their needs
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience working in a housekeeping team or similar (preferable)
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
Physically fit to carry out Housekeeping tasks
A keen eye for detail and passion for quality and presentation
High standards of presentation both for yourself and your work
Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
Strong communication skills
Pride in your work
