The materials intern for this project is expected to meet the minimum technical requirements outlined below:

-       Bachelor of Science specialising in Materials Science

-       Or Bachelor of Engineering specialising in Materials Engineering, Materials Process, or Chemical Process Engineering

-       At least 1 year hands-on experience in a chemistry and/or materials lab

-       Experience with standard chemistry lab equipment and procedures (e.g. precision balances, pipettes, glassware handling, chemical health and safety awareness)

-       Experience with standard materials testing equipment (e.g. tensile tester, .....)

-       Experience with Microsoft Excel statistical tools and graphing techniques for data assembly and analysis

-       GPA of 7 or higher

-       Highly desirable = has experience with polymer synthesis and/or characterization
