We are currently seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Henderson, Auckland office. Due to the collaborative and mentoring nature of this role, applicants must be based in Auckland or willing to relocate.

About the Role
As a Graduate Structural Engineer based in Auckland, you will work closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions across a broad range of building projects.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of structural engineering projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments
Perform structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
Produce structural mark-ups for internal drafting teams
Utilise industry-standard software including SpaceGass, RAPT, RAM Concept, and Structural Toolkit
Participate in construction-phase activities, including site inspections and shop drawing reviews
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, compliant, and economical design solutions
About You
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Graduate to 2 years' experience in structural engineering
Consultancy experience is advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of relevant New Zealand Standards and Building Code requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Experience with Bluebeam Revu is advantageous
Full New Zealand Driver Licence (or ability to obtain one)
Location
This position is based in our Henderson, Auckland office. Due to the junior nature of the role and the importance of hands-on mentoring, regular office attendance is expected.
