Our client is looking for an experienced Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience and strong expertise in SQL, along with hands-on experience in Databricks or Tableau.
This role is suited to a proactive, commercially minded analyst who can work autonomously in a remote environment and effectively bridge the gap between data and business.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex datasets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using Databricks and/or Tableau.
- Translate data into actionable business insights, clearly explaining the why behind the numbers.
- Monitor business performance, investigate variances, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate analytical findings, insights, and business impacts to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Partner with business teams to understand requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Take ownership of analytical activities, manage priorities independently, and deliver outcomes in a remote working environment.
Key Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst.
- Strong SQL skills, including querying, analysing, and manipulating complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and/or Tableau.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data insights to business performance and outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, business friendly manner.
