Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about supporting older people to live meaningful and fulfilling lives?
Elizabeth Knox Home & Hospital is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our team in Epsom, Auckland.
This position requires flexibility to work rostered shifts across seven days per week, including AM, evening, and night shifts.
About the role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care while supporting the wellbeing, dignity, independence, and choices of our residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing safe and high-quality clinical nursing care
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating residents' care
Administering medications and completing clinical documentation
Monitoring residents' health and responding appropriately to changes in their condition
Working collaboratively with Care Partners and other members of the multidisciplinary team
Communicating effectively with residents, whanau and healthcare professionals
Supporting a positive, respectful, and resident-focused environment
Providing clinical guidance and support to the care team.
About you
We are looking for Registered Nurses who:
Hold a current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
Have strong clinical assessment and nursing skills
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Are compassionate and committed to supporting older people
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Are reliable, professional and able to adapt to the needs of residents
Have the legal right to work in New Zealand
Are able to work permanent full-time hours across a seven-day roster
Have the flexibility to work AM, evening, and night shifts.
Previous experience in aged residential care would be an advantage.
