Working closely alongside partner teachers, you'll help guide daily activities, encourage creative learning, and support each child's individual growth through positive verbal engagement and caring supervision.    You will also… Create a nurturing, responsive environment that promotes positive development of social and emotional competencies. Communicate daily with parents and guardians while collaborating closely with co-teachers and school staff Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean classroom environment following all safety and licensing guidelines Assist children during meals, snacks, rest periods, and routine personal care (including toileting and diaper changing as needed) Perform other related classroom and school support duties as assigned    What We Are Looking For High School Diploma and 6 semesters or 9 quarter early childhood education units shall include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum  Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior teaching experience with preschool students is a plus
