About the role
This is a varied role that combines customer communication, scheduling, administration and operational support. You'll play an important part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly and ensuring customers enjoy a great experience from start to finish. We enviage this as a part-time role about 20 hours per week covering our key busy period from 10am to 2pm daily.
Key responsibilities
Liaising with customers to arrange appointments for sales consultants and installers, balancing customer needs with efficient scheduling and travel times
Preparing documentation and job information installers need for their daily appointments
Keeping customers informed when their blinds are completed, ready for dispatch, scheduled for installation or available for collection
Placing orders with contract manufacturers and arranging office supplies as required
Answering phone calls, responding to online chats and assisting with general enquiries
Welcoming and assisting customers collecting their completed orders
Monitoring and maintaining appropriate stock levels of fabric samples
About you
Previous experience in customer service, administration, scheduling or a similar support role
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment without losing sight of the customer
A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Reliable, proactive and takes ownership of their work
