Practice Network Lead

About the Role
Are you an experienced Practice Manager or a Practice Nurse with strong management and leadership skills, ready to make a broader impact across primary care?
As our Practice Network Lead, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference across South Link Health's nationwide network. This is a varied leadership role combining strategic thinking, operational improvement and hands-on practice support.
Working closely with Practice Managers and clinical leaders, you'll drive change, strengthen systems and processes, improve operational performance and help ensure our practices deliver a consistent, high-quality patient experience. You'll be a trusted advisor and problem-solver, supporting practices to succeed while stepping in to provide hands-on operational support when needed.
Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, this role is based at our Dunedin head office, with regular travel to practices across Aotearoa New Zealand, building relationships and driving improvements where they matter most.

What You’ll Do
Support Practice Managers and teams with day-to-day operations, systems and processes, including providing hands-on operational support when required.
Lead and support change initiatives, including system rollouts, new processes and national requirements.
Help practices get the most out of our Patient Management System, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and workflows.
Improve patient experience, including access, communication and the use of patient feedback.
Support quality and compliance, including Foundation Standard requirements.
Develop shared tools, templates and processes to promote consistency and best practice across the network.
Build strong relationships with practices, PHOs and other key partners to support collaboration and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in New Zealand primary care or general practice.
Strong working knowledge of Medtech Evolution and/or Indici.
Demonstrated experience leading and supporting teams in a general practice or primary care environment.
A proven track record of leading change and improvement in a management or clinical role.
Leadership skills, with the ability to influence and support teams you don't directly manage.
A genuine focus on quality patient experience and commitment to equitable access.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout New Zealand
