Order Fulfillment & Store Assistant (Full-Time)

About Signature Tools
Signature Tools is a New Zealand specialist in premium hand tools for builders, carpenters and serious tradespeople. We serve customers nationwide online and through our showrooms in Auckland and Palmerston North.
The Role
We’re looking for a reliable, honest and detail-focused person to join our Auckland team full-time. You’ll keep our online orders moving accurately and on time during the week, and look after customers in our showroom on weekends, our busiest trading days.
You will report to the Store Manager.
Regular Roster (5 days)
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Monday – Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Thursday & Friday off
Additional hours may be offered during peak trading periods.
What You’ll Do
Weekdays
Pick, pack and dispatch online orders accurately and on time
Receive and check incoming deliveries
Keep the store and storage areas clean, organised and safe
Weekends
Welcome and assist walk-in customers, from DIYers to seasoned trades
Learn our range well enough to recommend the right tool for the job
Process sales and keep displays stocked and well presented
What You’ll Need
The legal right to work in New Zealand
A full New Zealand driver’s licence (driving is part of the role)
Availability for the roster above, including every weekend
A careful, methodical approach and a willingness to follow set procedures
Confidence with computers and a willingness to learn new systems
Comfort with physical work, including lifting up to 20kg
Honesty, reliability and a positive attitude, whether working independently or as part of a team
Highly Preferred
Experience in dispatch, warehousing or retail
A trade background or a genuine interest in hand tools
