Schedule/Shift

Shifts are 10 hours long, from 21:30 to 07:30, following an 8 on, 6 off schedule.

Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Technician will operate specialized laboratory equipment, perform tests in areas including Cobas, Sysmex, Stago, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, and limited Microbiology. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy in testing, and a strong collaborative spirit to work effectively within the laboratory team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document results accurately and timely for review by the laboratory supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize laboratory workflow and processes.

Required Experience

• Experience with Cobas, Sysmex, Stago, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, and Microbiology preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current National MLT license required.
