We are an Auckland based drainage company looking for a reliable, motivated and hardworking apprentice or recently qualified drainlayer to join our team.

This role would suit someone currently in their 2nd or 3rd year of their drainlaying apprenticeship, or someone who is recently qualified and is looking to further develop their skills and experience across residential and civil drainage projects.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a good work ethic and a willingness to learn, who takes pride in producing quality work and being part of a team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist with and carry out drainage installations across residential and civil job sites.

  • Work alongside experienced drainlayers to complete projects safely and to a high standard.

  • Learn to read and follow drainage plans and specifications.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and best practice.

  • Follow all health and safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Be a reliable and positive team member, willing to take direction and show initiative.

Role Requirements:

  • Currently in your 2nd or 3rd year of a drainlaying apprenticeship, or recently qualified.

  • Some experience in residential and/or civil drainage.

  • Current full driver's licence.

  • WTR and Class 2 licence preferred but not essential.

  • Current PGDB registration or working towards qualification.

  • Good attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening test.

  • Ability to work in New Zealand or hold a valid work visa.
