Physical Therapist – Inpatient

Schedule

5x8 shifts available, choose Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month.

Assignment Details

Contract length is a minimum of 13 weeks with guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week. The facility is allowed to call off staff up to 3 times during the assignment.

Requirements

Current BLS certification
New Mexico state license (can be pending at the time of submission)
Experience in acute care preferred
Experience treating adults, adolescents, and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

Provide evaluation and treatment for a variety of patient diagnoses including falls, CVA, trauma, and post-operative conditions.
Implement and supervise home exercise programs for patient rehabilitation.
Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures and recovery processes.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
