Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Product and sales costing
- Monthly returns and reporting
- Petty cash management and daily cash-ups
- Processing journals and general ledger transactions
- Managing local and foreign debtors and creditors
- Monitoring foreign exchange transactions
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Managing insurance claims and related administration
- Assisting with the annual audit process
- Supporting accurate financial reporting and controls
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' accounting experience
- Experience with costing and stock-related accounting
- Sage 200 experience is essential
- Easipos (POS) experience advantageous
- Exposure to foreign creditors and forex transactions
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Qualification:
- BCom Accounting or equivalent
- SAIPA qualification or articles
