ALH is currently seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter / Fabricator for a full-time opportunity with one of our clients.
 
We are open to either a permanent employee or contractor arrangement for the right person.
 
This is a hands-on role for someone who can hit the ground running. We're looking for a skilled tradesperson with strong experience across pipe fitting, fabrication and industrial work who can work independently and contribute from day one.
 
What we're looking for
You will have proven experience in:

• Pipe fitting and fabrication
• Carbon steel and stainless-steel pipework
• Pressure piping
• Pressure vessel fabrication
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and pipe isometrics
• Fit-up of pipe, flanges, valves and fittings
• General heavy fabrication work
• Working safely and independently in an industrial environment

Experience within oil & gas, energy, industrial maintenance or shutdown environments would be highly regarded.
 
This role is for you if you:

• Are an experienced Pipe Fitter / Fabricator
• Can confidently read engineering drawings and pipe isometrics
• Have a strong understanding of pipework, fit-up and fabrication
• Take pride in the quality of your work
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Have a strong commitment to health and safety
• Are reliable, practical and ready to get stuck in

This is not a trainee or welder-only position. We are specifically looking for someone with the experience and capability to step into the role and make an immediate contribution.
