For the Transport FTL department of our branch in London (UK), we are looking for a

 

Department Manager Transport

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with customers and transport suppliers, ensuring high service standards and operational efficiency
  • Oversee the Transport Department, ensuring smooth daily operations and performance targets are met
  • Coordinate and lead the transport team, supporting productivity and operational excellence
  • Monitor service quality, operational KPIs, and cost efficiency within the department
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations

 

Your Profile
  • Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector, preferably with a freight forwarder specialising in road transport
  • Strong knowledge of road freight operations and transport planning
  • Experience in team coordination and operational management
