About the role

A Technical Agronomist / Research Officer position based at Imtrade CropScience's Kwinana Beach premises to provide agronomic input to support the company's position in agricultural chemicals nationally and internationally. This will entail regulatory trial work, both field and greenhouse based, in support of intellectual property development. The position offers involvement with a company in an exciting phase of growth generating new product options for agriculture based on Australian research.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in the R&D trials program, field and greenhouse

• Conduct regulatory efficacy, host crop safety and GLP residues small plot replicated field trials in-house, including product application, assessments and reporting

• Provide support for externally contracted trials and demonstrations

• Provide technical assistance on agronomic issues to customers, resellers, research organizations and internal personnel

• Operation within structured management systems

About you

• Agricultural science/agronomy degree or diploma (or similar) or relevant experience as a field/trials technician

• High level analytical skills

• C class drivers license

• National Police Clearance

• Previous trial experience
