Rebel Recruitment is partnering with a leading Tier 1 civil infrastructure contractor looking for an experienced Intermediate or Senior Civil Estimator to join their Auckland team.
With a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming infrastructure projects across roading, civil construction and Three Waters, this is an opportunity to join an established contractor offering genuine career progression, professional development and long-term stability.

$140K–$170K base salary, depending on experience and seniority, plus an attractive benefits package.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Estimator or Senior Estimator to play a key role in pricing and securing civil infrastructure projects.
Working alongside experienced construction, commercial and delivery teams, you'll be involved in developing competitive tenders, identifying commercial opportunities and supporting the continued growth of an established Tier 1 contractor.
For an intermediate Estimator, there's genuine scope for mentoring and development, with a pathway towards Senior level over the next 6–12 months.
For someone already operating at Senior level, there's the opportunity to bring your experience, take ownership of complex tenders and make a real contribution to the estimating team.

Core Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for roading, civil infrastructure and Three Waters projects.
Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
Develop detailed cost estimates covering labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and construction methodologies.
Identify tender risks, opportunities and value-engineering solutions to strengthen bid competitiveness.
Collaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers and construction teams throughout tender preparation, submission and project handover.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years' estimating experience within civil construction
Strong experience across roading, civil infrastructure and/or Three Waters projects.
Proven ability to prepare competitive tenders with a sound understanding of construction methodologies, productivity rates and project costs.
Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and the confidence to work collaboratively with experienced construction teams.
A motivated, solutions-focused professional who is either ready to progress towards Senior Estimator or already operating confidently at Senior level.
