About the role
As a Permanent Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from business development and candidate sourcing through to placement and ongoing client management. You will build and own your own specialist desk with autonomy, earning potential, and the backing of an experienced recruitment team.
Key responsibilities
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Identifying and winning new permanent recruitment opportunities
Managing your own recruitment desk and candidate pipeline
Sourcing, interviewing and assessing high-quality candidates
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process
Negotiating salaries and managing offers
Providing market intelligence and recruitment advice to clients
Building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates
Achieving individual billing and activity targets
About you
5+ years' recruitment experience
Proven permanent recruitment experience
Strong business development and sales capability
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
A strong understanding of recruitment processes
The ability to build genuine client and candidate relationships
A proactive and self-motivated approach
Strong organisation and time-management skills
A desire to build a successful long-term recruitment career
