Loader Operator

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Loader Operator to join our busy team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in operating machinery safely and efficiently, keeps equipment and work areas tidy, and is happy to get stuck in as part of a hardworking team.

The Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Operating a front-end loader safely and efficiently around the plant

• Loading and moving aggregates, sand, stone and other materials

• Loading trucks and keeping stockpiles and plant areas organised

• Carrying out daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance

• Working closely with plant operators, truck drivers and the wider site team

• Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment

• Assisting with general plant and yard duties when required

• Following all health, safety and environmental procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience operating a front-end loader

• Has experience working around a concrete, quarry, construction or similar environment

• Holds the relevant machinery licences or endorsements where required (WTR, Class 2/4 a Bonus)

• Has a strong commitment to health and safety

• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work

• Can work independently while also being a team player

• Is physically fit and willing to help out with general duties when required

• Has a good attitude and is prepared to get stuck in
