WSM Group is looking for an experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our ACC Contracts team as a key worker of concussion rehabilitation across the Wellington region.
As an Active+ Gold Licence provider across Wellington and Wairarapa, we deliver a broad range of ACC-funded rehabilitation services, including Concussion, Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS), Training for Independence (TI), Pain Management and other community rehabilitation services.
The opportunity
This is a flexible contractor opportunity for a clinician who wants greater autonomy over their working week while having access to an established stream of meaningful rehabilitation work.
You’ll be a key Wellington provider within our established concussion service, managing your own caseload and working closely with our Concussion Clinical Lead and experienced multidisciplinary team.
You’ll have the flexibility to choose your availability and structure your own diary, while benefiting from the clinical and operational support of a larger organisation.
Depending on your interests and availability, there may also be opportunities to work across other areas of WSM Group, including MSK physiotherapy, other ACC contracts, Community Rehabilitation, Aged Residential Care (ARC), Private Occupational Therapy and Workplace Health).
While contracting is our preferred arrangement for this opportunity, an employed option may also be considered for the right candidate.

About you
We’re looking for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with 2+ years’ clinical experience and/or experience working with people with acquired or traumatic brain injuries, and community rehabilitation.
You’ll be comfortable working autonomously, with strong communication and clinical reasoning skills, while also enjoying the support and collaboration that comes from being part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
Previous experience delivering ACC-contracted services is preferred. As community and workplace visits form part of our services, access to a vehicle is essential.
