Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer with strong experience in Python programming, backend application development, RESTful APIs, and PySpark-based distributed data processing. The ideal candidate will design scalable backend services, develop data transformation pipelines, integrate enterprise systems, and optimize application and data processing performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
Build RESTful APIs and backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Develop data processing and transformation pipelines using PySpark and Apache Spark.
Process large volumes of structured and unstructured data using distributed computing frameworks.
Integrate backend services with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and external systems.
Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
Develop ETL/ELT workflows and implement data validation and quality checks.
Implement authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and exception handling.
Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile development ceremonies.
Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

7–9 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development.
Proficiency in FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Strong experience with PySpark and Apache Spark.
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
Understanding of distributed computing, data processing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD practices.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
