About the role

We are currently seeking Dispatch I/O's to be part of our Christhchurch Logistics branch that will provide extraordinary customer service to Armourguard clients by ensuring the operational requirements of the Inwards/Outwards functions are met through the efficient handling of cash consignments via Armourguard's routing and cash systems. Please note that the core function of the role is duties pertaining to Dispatch and I/O however the successful candidate will be expected to also undertake CIT Roadcrew duties as and when required.

Key responsibilities

• Servicing of inbound and outbound CIT vehicles each day.

• Assisting with the scanning of all cash consignments via Armourguard's routing and cash systems to ensure audit trails are always in place.

• Work closely with the Transport Supervisor/Branch Manager to ensure the service provided is above clients expectations.

• Working closely with Cash Processing teams to ensure all products are received and dispatched correctly and in a timely manner.

• Assisting with the auditing and compliance of the transport procedures and processes.

• Reporting to the Transport Supervisor/Branch Manager of any non-compliant vehicles.

• Support contractors and liaising with customers with the aim of lifting customer service.

• Responsible for adhering to the company OH&S policy, systems, and procedures.

• Supporting CIT on road as and when required.

• Compliance audit for transport – exceptions reporting.

About you

• Bursary level or equivalent qualification.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

• Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Certificate of Approval for the Security Industry.

• Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

• Security industry qualifications are an advantage.
