This role would suit someone who is confident on the tools but also comfortable taking the lead on site, helping coordinate day-to-day work and keeping jobs moving safely and efficiently.
You’ll be working alongside tradespeople and labourers, assisting with a variety of construction maintenance work while providing practical direction and support to the team when required.

What we’re looking for
- Previous construction and maintenance experience
- Previous Leading Hand, senior trades assistant or similar experience preferred
- Strong practical skills and confidence using hand and power tools
- Ability to provide direction and support to other workers on site
- Ability to work independently and keep work progressing
- Reliable, hardworking attitude with good communication skills
- Strong focus on health and safety
- Reliable transport and ability to travel to different Auckland sites
- A current driver’s licence is preferred
