Help New Zealand farmers get more value from FarmIQ and FARMAX.
We’re looking for a practical, people-focused Customer Service Specialist to join FarmIQ’s Operations team.
This is a hands-on customer support role where you’ll help farmers and agribusiness customers get the most from FarmIQ and FARMAX. You’ll solve problems, support customers with day-to-day questions, help onboard new users, and proactively work with customers who may need a bit more help.
If you understand farming, enjoy helping people, and are confident working with technology, we’d love to hear from you.
The start date for the successful candidate is late November/early December
About the role
Reporting to the Customer Service Team Lead, you’ll provide support across FarmIQ products, working with customers, internal teams and business partners. The role covers onboarding, ongoing customer support and helping customers stay engaged with our products.
You’ll:
Respond to customer support requests relating to FarmIQ and FARMAX, taking ownership through to resolution
Aim to resolve a high proportion of customer issues on the first call
Make proactive outbound calls to customers who may need extra support or whose product use is declining
Accurately record customer interactions in our CRM
Help develop and improve customer documentation
Identify opportunities to improve our systems, processes and customer experience
Capture customer feedback, bugs and enhancement opportunities and feed these back to the wider team
Work with our Product and Technology team when issues require further investigation
Undertake user acceptance testing when required
Support the wider customer service team and help ensure effective support coverage.
About you
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and providing great service.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
Knowledge of farming practices
Previous experience with FarmIQ or FARMAX would be an advantage
Around two years’ experience in a customer service or call centre environment
Confidence using computers, operating systems and Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good attention to detail
A collaborative, team-first approach
A Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or a related subject is preferred, but not essential.
How we work
At FarmIQ, we value people who are relentlessly positive, work as one team, create clarity through action, and treat the business like they own it.
You’ll be joining a team that works closely with customers as well as our Product and Technology teams, giving you plenty of opportunity to build your knowledge of both farming and agri-tech.
Interested?
If you have a farming background, customer service experience, or simply enjoy helping people get the most from technology, we’d love to hear from you.
