About the role
Glowbal NZ is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to strengthen procurement and supply-chain operations. This role reports to the General Manager.
Key responsibilities
Manage purchasing across lighting, hardware, HVAC, refrigeration, petroleum and building products.
Source and develop reliable local and overseas suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms and freight.
Plan stock and purchasing around sales forecasts, projects and business needs.
Monitor supplier performance, product quality and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with sales, warehouse, logistics and finance teams, and manage purchase orders and import documentation.
Identify cost savings, manage supply risks and report procurement insights to management.
About you
At least 3 - 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or supply-chain management.
Strong negotiation, commercial, planning and problem-solving skills.
Experience with overseas suppliers, imports and freight is an advantage; relevant product-sector experience is desirable.
Confident using procurement and inventory systems, MYOB and Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently and within a small team.
Place of work: Auckland
