Inventory Associate Tasks & Duties
• Perform daily cycle counts and verification of material movement
• Enter data for quantities of items issued, transferred, relocated, inventory cycle counts, and adjustments in data
bases or spreadsheets
• Conduct system and document audits of various material movement processes
• Provide physical inventory movement, as necessary
• Track and analyze various related inventory issues or problems
• Reconcile inventory, movement, or misplacement of items
• Conduct and provide inventory issues or problems
• Estimate reserves for slow or obsolete inventory
• Assist during inventory related external audits
• Conduct accurate cycle count of inventory locations per handheld device in the warehouse and make system
updates as required with root cause
• Reach and resolve inventory variances
• Validate the date of products in the warehouse and update as required
• Audit and correct inbound receiving paperwork
• Respond to internal buyer requests for item checks in the warehouse
• Coordinate the handling of obsolete and at-risk inventory (vendor returns, donations, recalls, expired products)
to include identifying, communicating, adjusting, and validating products
Inventory Associate Shift Info
Day Shift, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday - Friday
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in inventory or warehousing
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and cherry pickers
• Ability to work at elevated heights using lift equipment
• Basic computer skills; WMS experience with Microsoft D365 a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to read, write and speak English with Spanish a plus
