What exactly is the objective of this role?
We're looking for a GM - Technical Program Manager to join Service & Engagement. This role suits someone with around 12-16 years of relevant experience, who can lead complex, cross-team programs from planning through launch and keep engineering, product, and leadership aligned along the way.
What will be my Key Responsibilities?
- Own complex, cross-team programs end to end, from planning through launch, keeping scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks visible and under control.
- Solid B2C experience.
- Build and maintain clear plans, milestones, and status reporting that engineering, product, and leadership can rely on, and communicate with executive-level clarity on progress, risks, and decisions needed.
- Identify and unblock cross-team dependencies early, and escalate trade-offs with clear options and a recommendation.
- Apply strong program and project planning practices (Agile, Scrum, Kanban), alongside disciplined dependency, risk, and change management, to keep delivery predictable as scope and priorities evolve.
- Run effective rituals such as planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and continuously improve how teams deliver, including through post-launch reviews that turn lessons into lasting process changes.
- Track delivery and quality metrics, and use them to forecast, adjust, and communicate honestly about progress, drawing on delivery metrics and forecasting methods to set realistic commitments.
- Partner with technical leads to understand architecture, cloud, and software delivery practices well enough to challenge estimates and sequencing, and to weigh technical risk, reliability, and release readiness.
- Use AI tools to automate reporting and surface risks sooner, and help teams adopt AI-assisted ways of working in delivery.
- Manage delivery tooling such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms so that plans, dependencies, and status stay accurate and transparent across teams.
- Mentor and coach program managers and team members, and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where stakeholders can raise concerns early.
What will be nice to have?
- A certification such as PMP, SAFe, or similar, showing a structured approach to program delivery.
- Experience running programs across multiple geographies and time zones, with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across distributed teams.
- Exposure to AI/ML delivery or data-platform programs, including an understanding of the specific risks and dependencies they bring.
Why This Role?
- Build digital products from scratch on modern, cloud-native infrastructure.
- A real mandate to run lean and AI-first, not lip service, but how we actually operate.
- Influence at both ends: hands-on enough to matter in the detail, senior enough to shape strategy.
- A fast, agile culture where releases ship quickly and your judgment drives the roadmap.
WITH THE RIGHT TEAM, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
If you're looking for an environment that's fun and friendly but incredibly fast-paced; a place where we measure the time between releases in days; a place where our focus begins and ends at the consumer, we'd love to have you!
