About the Role
As our Salesforce Data Migration Specialist, you will own how new client firms' data gets into the rubica platform. You'll migrate and validate client data, configure client environments to our standard patterns, and build documented, repeatable onboarding processes that the wider team can run.
This is a full-time (38 hours per week), fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities
Migrate client data from legacy practice management and CRM systems into rubica's standard Salesforce-based platform environments.
Map, transform and validate client data, and document the evidence that each migration is complete and accurate.
Configure client environments in line with rubica's standard configuration patterns, documenting and agreeing any client-specific deviations.
Develop and document repeatable onboarding and data migration processes that other team members can operate without further input.
Gather requirements from client stakeholders and clearly separate standard work from non-standard work that requires separate scoping and approval.
Handle client data securely and in line with privacy and information-security obligations.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience migrating client data into Salesforce-based platforms.
Domain knowledge of accounting, financial planning or wealth management data, including client records, entities and relationships.
Strong SQL/SOQL and Python skills for transforming data and validating that migrations are complete and accurate.
Experience writing repeatable onboarding and data migration runbooks for others to follow.
Experience configuring client environments against standard patterns and documenting deviations.
Clear written documentation skills and confident client-facing communication.
