-​Ladle Gate & Flow Control: Safely install/remove ladle gate cylinders and control steel flow into the tundish via pendant using ladle slide gates.

-​Temperature & Sample Analysis: Follow QSOP to obtain temperature readings, steel analysis samples, and hydrogen readings, and deliver samples to the lab.

-​Tundish & Shrouding Management: Add/remove tundish flux, handle shroud installations, clean shower heads during ladle exchanges, and adjust argon flow per QSOP.

-Casting & Maintenance Support: Handle tundish car prep/tear down, preheat tundish and SEN, assist strand operators with tube changes, and aid in mold stirring/strand withdrawal. 

-​Plant Operations: Replenish inventory, operate a forklift/electronic pallet jack, assist maintenance during down-days, and maintain housekeeping across the cast floor, 7500/4900 levels, and pulpits.
