This is a great opportunity for someone with previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience, but we’re also open to someone with little or no experience who has a great attitude, is reliable, and is willing to learn.
About the role
You’ll be working across a variety of sites carrying out general landscaping, grounds maintenance and labouring duties.
Your day-to-day duties may include:
- Lawn mowing and grass cutting
- Operating ride on lawn mowers
- Weeding and general garden maintenance
- Maintaining outdoor areas and sites
- Trimming and general tidy up work
- Using basic landscaping and gardening equipment
- General labouring duties as required
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and well maintained
What we’re looking for
Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role, particularly operating ride on lawn mowers. However, experience is advantageous rather than essential.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and turns up ready to work
- Enjoys working outdoors and doing physical work
- Has a good work ethic and positive attitude
- Is comfortable working in different weather conditions
- Can work well both independently and as part of a team
- Is willing to learn and take direction
- Takes pride in keeping sites looking tidy and well maintained
