Company: A&R Hospitality
Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70801 (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt
Reports To: Regional Director of Operations

About the Opportunity

A&R Hospitality is seeking an accomplished Hotel General Manager to lead Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown, a 93-room, full-service IHG Hotels & Resorts boutique hotel in the heart of Historic Downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The hotel occupies a landmark 1922 Classical Revival building overlooking the Mississippi River. It was originally the Standard Motor Company and later the historic Hotel King. Today it combines historic character with newly renovated guest rooms and suites and a full-service restaurant and bar, King Bar & Bistro, that serves both hotel guests and the downtown community.

The location brings steady, varied demand from state government and the Louisiana Legislature, corporate travel, the Raising Cane’s River Center, LSU athletics, weddings and social events, and leisure travelers. The Old State Capitol, the Louisiana State Capitol, the riverfront and downtown dining and nightlife are all within walking distance.

As General Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility and lead every department: Rooms Division, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Restaurant and Bar, Sales and Catering. This is a high-visibility role for a hands-on full-service hotel leader. You’ll know your guests and your team by name, grow RevPAR and market share in a competitive downtown market, and deliver the neighborhood-inspired guest experience the Hotel Indigo brand is known for.
