Lead a team. Shape a curriculum. Build futures.

Some leadership roles are about maintaining what already exists. Others offer the opportunity to build, develop and make a lasting difference.

At Abingdon & Witney College, we are looking for an ambitious and inspirational Curriculum Manager to lead our growing Motor Vehicle provision. This is an exciting opportunity to join a department with strong foundations, a committed team and genuine momentum, helping to shape the next chapter of technical education in one of the region's leading colleges.

Drive innovation and build on momentum

Over the past three years, the College has made a significant investment in Motor Vehicle. Enhanced facilities, increased curriculum breadth and continued growth in student recruitment have transformed the department into a thriving area of provision with real ambition for the future.

This role offers the opportunity to build on that success, leading a curriculum that prepares learners for careers in a rapidly evolving industry shaped by emerging vehicle technologies, sustainability and innovation.

Leadership that makes a difference

As Curriculum Manager, you will lead and develop a team of talented colleagues, championing high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across the department. You'll create a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to succeed.

Working closely with employers and industry partners, you'll ensure our curriculum remains relevant, ambitious and responsive to workforce needs. You'll help create meaningful opportunities through work experience, employer engagement, specialist projects and industry-led activities that bring learning to life.

The opportunity to shape what comes next

Whether you are already an experienced Curriculum Manager or an aspiring leader looking to take the next step, this role offers the chance to:

  • Lead a growing and successful Motor Vehicle curriculum.
  • Develop and inspire a talented team of staff.
  • Shape curriculum innovation and future development.
  • Strengthen employer partnerships and industry engagement.
  • Make a lasting impact on students, apprentices and local skills development.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a leader who brings:

  • Vocational expertise within the Motor Vehicle sector.
  • A passion for technical education and learner success.
  • The ability to inspire, develop and motivate others.
  • Strong industry awareness and employer engagement skills.
  • Ambition, creativity and a commitment to continuous improvement.

If you're ready to drive innovation, develop talent and help shape the future of automotive education, we'd love to hear from you.
