Our store in Dunedin has a fantastic opportunity for you to join a professional and highly motivated team, dedicated to getting customers into the outdoors!

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our passionate team at Bivouac Outdoor Dunedin.

You'll use your excellent communication and organisation skills, along with your energy and drive, to support the Store Manager and help lead the team to greater success by delivering an exceptional in-store experience for our customers.

This position follows a Sunday to Thursday roster, with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Working closely with our Store Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Stock processing, management and merchandising

• Store Administration

• Managing shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the store

• Providing customers with exceptional in store experiences

• Using your initiative and calm approach to solve problems and find effective solutions

• Supporting and motivating the team to achieve store goals

Our ideal candidate would have:

• Previous sales experience

• Previous management or leadership experience

• Excellent customer service skills

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A genuine interest in the outdoors

• The ability to work full-time, including Sundays and public holidays when required
