Accounting Product Specialist – Chartered Accountant (Auckland CBD fringe)
Are you currently working in a BAS role in a reputable Chartered Accounting firm and looking for something new with a growing and innovative AI company?
This very successful technology company is arguably the leader in its field and has been growing for several years. It now needs an experienced BAS Accountant with strong compliance and tax knowledge who would like to leave their current role for a new challenge that will use their current experience and knowledge as the company's product specialist and accounting domain expert.
This role will involve you:
assessing what changes could be made to improve the product
working with the Product Development team to improve the product and help develop further accounting products
demonstrating the products to clients and prospective clients
gathering feedback from the firms using the products, working through problems, and taking practical solutions back to the development team
To do that you will need:
A minimum of 4 years NZ CA firm BAS experience preparing annual financial statements and tax returns, including recent experience (within the last 12 months) at a senior level
Strong, current tax knowledge
To be hands on, with practical, day-to-day experience in Xero and workpapers
To enjoy working with people, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
To enjoy working systematically through problems, finding solutions and championing them with the team
To be IT savvy and comfortable presenting and demonstrating software

This company has a relaxed, yet focused and fun environment and a dynamic small team. The role is based in Auckland and is predominantly office based, with some flexibility (start/finish times) for the right candidate. The office is in a great CBD fringe location.
Remuneration: $90K pa to $120K pa plus KiwiSaver plus car park
