Bluebells Cakery is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Barista / FOH to work in its faced-paced cafes, making amazing coffee and selling our delicious products in our beautiful cafe.

The Environment:
We are a busy 7-day a week business.
Each location has their tasks but we work as a team to support each other.
We operate as a cafe, host High Teas in store, serve as a location for pre-ordered cake collections and as a location to give guidance for people wanting to order from our website.
The Team:
You will be an integral part of our FOH team and will be supported by the Group Front of House Manager and wider company.
About You:
You will …
Ideally be a fan of Bluebells Cakery and have a passion for beautiful food and coffee.
Genuinely enjoy serving people and providing a wonderful experience for them in our space.
Lead by example and be part of the team, doing all tasks that are required such as serving, coffees, cleaning etc.
Be personable and happy and able to handle pressure situations with a smile on your face.
Be an effective and empathetic communicator.
Be a multi-tasker – Bluebells is a busy environment so being able to serve, host a High Tea and do other tasks simultaneously is key!
Be keen to help people curate their own special occasion by helping them order cakes and other products for their events.
It will be a distinct advantage if you are a skilled barista and be able to drive coffee standards within the team.
Requirements:
You will…
Currently reside in NZ and have the right to work in NZ for at least 12 months
Have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in cafes and hospitality.
Be process driven, with an eye for detail and drive for accuracy.
Be happy to work weekends. Bluebells is a 7 day a week operation.
