Solution Architect
6-Month Contract | Belfast (Hybrid) | Inside IR35

We are currently supporting a leading technology company in the search for an experienced Solution Architect to join a major infrastructure and cloud transformation programme.
This role is ideal for a hands-on architect with a strong background in designing complex infrastructure solutions across cloud, hosting and modern workplace environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end infrastructure and cloud solutions for enterprise-scale programmes.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to define solution requirements.
• Produce high-quality architecture documentation and technical designs.
• Support solution development from concept through to delivery.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to best practice.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect designing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Strong expertise across: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware/vSAN, Cloud-native platforms, Hybrid hosting environments, Infrastructure modernisation initiatives
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.

Desirable Skills

• Cyber security technologies and frameworks, including: Zero Trust, Microsoft Sentinel / SOAR, Microsoft Defender, Vulnerability Assessment, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Attack Surface Management, IT/OT Security Integration
• Awareness of SQL and Oracle database environments.
• Experience with ODA and KVM hypervisors.
