A Little About the Role
Working alongside one of the Directors, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your own client portfolio while leading, mentoring and supporting a team of accountants.

- Managing and building relationships with your own portfolio of clients.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns.
- Supporting, mentoring and developing your team.
- Managing workflow, deadlines and technical reviews.
- Working across complex client groups, cashflow forecasting, financial analysis and advisory.
- Bringing fresh ideas and helping the team work smarter, not harder.
And for someone with longer-term ambitions, there is a genuine opportunity to progress towards a Director position.
Now, a Little About You!
Of course, the technical accounting experience is important, but we're equally interested in the person behind the CV.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- CA qualification and at least five years' experience in NZ public practice.
- Strong BAS and tax knowledge.
- Confidence preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns.
- Experience with Xero Practice Manager, Spotlight Reporting or similar technology.
- Great organisational skills and the ability to juggle clients, deadlines and competing priorities.
- A natural ability to connect with people, build trust and support others.
