Boarding Staff
Casual (Morning, Night and Weekend Hours)
Do you enjoy working with young people? Want a flexible role where you can make a difference?
We’re looking for reliable, caring and enthusiastic people to join our boarding team on a casual basis.
At Nga Tawa, a special character girls’ school in Marton, we believe boarding is about more than just a place to sleep. It’s about creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where our girls feel at home, build confidence and develop independence.
As part of our boarding team, you’ll play an important role in supporting our students through their daily routines, providing supervision and helping create a positive boarding experience.
This is a flexible opportunity to pick up shifts as they become available, including mornings, evenings and weekends. It could be a great fit for someone looking for casual work alongside study, other employment or
family commitments.
We’re looking for someone with:
A warm, approachable manner and a genuine interest in working with young people
Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
A flexible and reliable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full, clean driver's licence
A current first aid certificate and previous boarding experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Hours: Casual, with shifts available across mornings, evenings and weekends during term time. The opportunity to pick up shifts will vary depending on boarding requirements.
Interested? Let’s talk.
