2026 Enhanced Staff Midwife – Expression of Interest

                                                        Permanent, Full Time/Part Time 

We are welcoming expressions of interest/ applications for Enhanced Staff Midwife positions at the Rotunda Hospital, with opportunities across a variety of wards.

This includes Permanent, Full Time and Part Time Contracts.

Professional Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

• Be registered, or be eligible for registration, in the Midwifery Division of the Register kept by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann)

And

• Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of clinical and administrative capacity), for the proper discharge of the duties of the role

Desirable:

·       Knowledge of HIQA Quality/Hygiene Accreditation Process and other national quality initiatives

·       Experience of participation in audit or research projects

·       Evidence of recent relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
