Who would suit this role?
We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a passion for customer service, lending, and people leadership. This role would suit someone with a background in financial services who enjoys building strong relationships, supporting team performance, and delivering exceptional outcomes for customers and business partners. You'll be highly organised, commercially minded, and confident working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, compliance, and service excellence are key.
Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship-building skills will be essential, along with the ability to support and motivate a high-performing team
What does this role entail?
- Managing lending and payouts enquiries from dealers and business partners
- Assessing and reviewing loan applications and supporting documentation
- Ensuring compliance with credit policy, regulatory requirements, and company procedures
- Reviewing approved loans and conducting compliance checks to minimise risk
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with dealers, brokers, referral partners, and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with staff training, onboarding, and development initiatives
- Preparing reports and ensuring data accuracy across systems
What do we need from you?
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a financial services and customer service environment
- Strong understanding of consumer finance, lending practices, and credit assessment
- Knowledge of consumer lending legislation and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A collaborative approach with the ability to support, coach, and develop others
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Finance (preferred)
- Rights to work in New Zealand
