Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Oversee the full accounting and reporting function
- Lead and manage a finance team
- Ensure the accurate completion of month-end and year-end processes
- Review financial results and investigate variances
- Maintain and enhance internal control procedures
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and accounting reviews
- Coordinate external and internal audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting
- Experience within a corporate or multinational environment advantageous
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Ability to lead under pressure and manage competing priorities
Qualification:
- SAICA / SAIPA / AGA(SA)
