I’m working with an established engineering and infrastructure business looking for an Operations Manager to join their Wellington team.
This is a varied role combining technical knowledge, project coordination, team leadership and client relationships. The business has plans to expand its work across diesel generators, including servicing, installations and upgrades, alongside its existing fuel systems and engineering work.
Working closely with the business owner, you’ll take responsibility for day-to-day operations, support the technicians and help strengthen the team’s technical capability. They need someone who understands the work first hand and can use that experience to lead, plan and solve problems.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck behind a desk all day, but neither will you be expected to spend all your time on the tools. It’s about bringing together your technical background and management skills to keep projects running smoothly and ensure the team is well supported as the business develops.
