If you’re practical, organised and comfortable working on your own, this part-time role could be a great fit.
Our client is an established New Zealand engineering and infrastructure business supplying products used in major projects throughout the country. Continued growth has created an opportunity for a reliable Logistics Storeperson to help keep their Woolston site running smoothly.
Reporting to the Auckland-based Logistics Manager, you’ll look after a mix of administration, yard, stock, product preparation and dispatch tasks. The admin work can be done from home, while the hands-on duties will have you on site in Woolston. Start and finish times are flexible, and a phone and laptop are provided.
You’ll be working solo day to day, so initiative is essential. You’ll need to notice what needs doing, organise your workload and follow things through without waiting for direction.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll have practical experience in a warehouse, yard, stores or similar environment, along with good attention to detail and confidence completing administration.
You’ll also need:
You’ll have flexible start and finish times, some work from home and a varied workload that keeps you involved in both administration and practical work.
You’ll be part of a stable, down-to-earth business where people support each other and take pride in their work.
A phone, laptop and PPE are supplied, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn specialist products and processes.
You must be based in Christchurch and eligible to work in New Zealand. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
