About the role

Working directly with the Director, you will be responsible for developing Syncore's sales pipeline and growing our client base across the Auckland construction and property market. This is a commercially driven role focused on identifying opportunities, building strong industry relationships and converting those opportunities into profitable projects. This is not a traditional marketing role.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying and developing new construction opportunities

• Building relationships with developers, main contractors, project managers, quantity surveyors, architects and property owners

• Generating and qualifying new leads

• Developing repeat business and long-term client relationships

• Identifying suitable tender and negotiated contract opportunities

• Following opportunities from initial contact through pricing, negotiation and contract award

• Coordinating with estimating, project management and delivery teams

• Maintaining an active and structured sales pipeline

• Developing strategic partnerships and referral channels

• Supporting the growth of Syncore's Design & Build, Prefab and Project Management services

About you

• Experience within the construction, property or related industries

• Strong knowledge of the Auckland construction market

• Existing industry contacts and relationships

• Proven ability to generate and convert new business

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Commercial awareness and an understanding of construction pricing and margins

• Confidence dealing with senior decision-makers

• The ability to work independently and proactively generate opportunities

• Professional English communication skills

• Mandarin Chinese language capability would be highly regarded
