About the role

We're on the hunt for a reliable, experienced Key Holder to join our Dunedin crew on a part-time basis!

This isn't just your typical retail gig. As Key Holder, you'll play an important role in keeping the store running smoothly, taking responsibility for opening and closing, daily banking, cash handling, and helping keep the team motivated and on track.

Key responsibilities

• Opening and closing the store when required

• Leading, inspiring and engaging the team during your shifts

• Greeting every customer and delivering outstanding, personalised service

• Recommending, locating, and helping customers find exactly the right gear for their needs

• Maintaining store presentation to a high standard

• Keeping on top of day-to-day admin tasks

• Staying aware of daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and doing what it takes to reach them

• Building and promoting our customer loyalty program

About you

• Previous retail or customer service experience (essential)

• Natural leadership — you can hold the fort, motivate a team, and make sound decisions

• A genuine passion for surf and/or skate culture, or an eagerness to learn

• Outstanding communication skills — warm, clear and professional with both customers and your team

• High attention to detail

• Strong time management

• A positive attitude and the ability to keep your cool

Availability: Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm, Friday 9:00am-5:30pm & Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm

Starting: As soon as possible
