About the Role

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing quotations and tender submissions for a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential electrical projects. You will work closely with our sales team, suppliers, and customers to provide timely and accurate pricing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quotations and tender submissions

• Interpret electrical plans, specifications, and schedules

• Source and price electrical products, switchboards, lighting, and associated equipment

• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers

• Negotiate supplier pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Follow up quotations and provide technical support to customers

• Maintain accurate records of project pricing and margins

• Support branch sales growth through proactive customer engagement

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in electrical estimating, electrical contracting, or electrical wholesale

• Strong knowledge of electrical products and industry standards

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software

• A positive attitude and team-focused approach
