The role
As an Account Manager, you'll be right in the thick of things — working closely with our clients, designers, strategists and wider team to bring great creative work to life.
You'll be the person who keeps projects moving, clients informed and everyone on the same page. You'll balance the details with the bigger picture, spot potential problems before they become actual problems and help make the whole process a great experience for everyone involved.
You'll be responsible for:
Building and maintaining great relationships with clients, acting as a trusted day-to-day point of contact
Managing projects from brief through to delivery, keeping timelines, budgets and expectations on track
Preparing estimates, managing project budgets and keeping an eye on profitability
Working collaboratively with our creative and strategy teams to deliver exceptional work
Developing briefs, timelines and project documentation
Keeping communication flowing between clients and the wider team
Juggling multiple projects and priorities without dropping the ball
Spotting opportunities to add value to our clients and their businesses
Bringing positive energy, initiative and a solutions-focused mindset to the team
A bit about you
We're after someone who's as comfortable chatting with clients as they are getting stuck into the nitty-gritty of a project.
You'll be organised, proactive and genuinely passionate about creative work. You know how to keep things moving, aren't afraid to ask questions and take pride in making things happen.
Ideally, you'll bring:
2–4 years' experience in a creative agency, design studio or in-house marketing environment
Exceptional organisation, planning and time management skills
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships
A genuine love of design, creativity and great ideas
Experience managing projects, timelines and budgets
Excellent attention to detail (yes, we'll notice the typos)
The ability to prioritise, problem-solve and stay calm when things get busy
A proactive, can-do attitude — you're someone who gets on with it rather than waiting to be asked
A collaborative approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves
A healthy sense of humour. It definitely helps.
Most importantly, you're a good human who enjoys working with other good humans. You care about the work, the people and doing things properly.
You don't need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be curious, keen to learn and ready to get stuck in.
What's in it for you?
We're a close-knit bunch who work hard, have a laugh and genuinely care about the people we work with.
Here's a taste of what you can expect:
A supportive, inclusive culture where your ideas and perspective are valued
A huge variety of creative work and clients — from brand development to digital, campaigns, signage and wayfinding
Talented, passionate people who are great at what they do (and pretty good company, too)
Flexible working hours and the ability to work from home
A family-friendly environment that understands there's life outside the studio
Opportunities to learn, grow and develop your career
The chance to work with great clients across New Zealand
A dog-friendly studio, because obviously
