W Wiggins Ltd is a historic New Zealand company founded in 1866 and is a leading wholesale distributor of performance textiles servicing a wide range of industries including Marine, Transport, Architecture, Automotive, Agriculture, Upholstery, and Outdoor Recreation.

We are looking for an experienced stores person to join our team at our Christchurch warehouse. This is a permanent, full-time position, working 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be involved in all aspects of warehousing, from receiving and dispatching goods to maintaining stock accuracy and providing excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

·        Receiving, checking, and putting away incoming stock

·        Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders

·        Loading and unloading freight

·        Maintaining accurate inventory records

·        Assisting with stocktakes and stock control

·        Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe

·        Supporting the sales and customer service teams as required

To be successful in this role you will need to:

·        Possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude

·        Have good attention to detail and organisational skills

·        Be physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

·        Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

·        Work well both independently and as part of a team

·        Hold a forklift licence (F Endorsed preferred)
