About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Systems Engineering, you’ll help design, deploy and test large-scale GPU computing systems across multiple sites.
You’ll work closely with customers, site teams, suppliers and engineering specialists to ensure each system is reliable, performs as expected and is ready for handover. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of variety, from setting up new systems to troubleshooting issues and improving how we deliver projects.

About the role

What you’ll do
- Turn customer requirements into practical system designs and deployment plans.
- Set up and configure Linux systems, GPU hardware and cluster management tools.
- Work with networking and storage specialists to bring the different parts of each system together.
- Test system reliability and performance, investigate issues and coordinate fixes.
- Build automation that makes deployments more consistent and efficient.
- Create clear documentation and support a smooth handover to customers and operations teams.
What you'll bring
- At least five years’ experience in high-performance computing, GPU computing or large-scale Linux environments.
- Strong Linux administration skills and experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying and supporting computing clusters.
- Experience with Slurm and working knowledge of Kubernetes or a similar platform.
- An understanding of high-speed networking and storage, including InfiniBand or RoCE.
- Practical Python and shell scripting skills, with experience using Git.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to working with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
